How about some catchy indie rock n’ roll from Philadelphia slash South Jerz for yr morning? The shimmering guitar hook drops on this song like the sun glinting off the Cira Center. The band of “four posi dudes” tells me:
“The song started out describing what I felt was a specific situation of losing a friend to drugs, but then I sadly realized that I know a bunch of people going through the same thing. Watching someone slip away, wondering if they’re even the same person anymore, holding out hope that your friend is still in there somewhere. And then we set it to a surf beat & bright guitars.”

Listen a new track called “Secret (Feat. Martina Topley-Bird)”, from Chris Clark’s upcoming album, Iradelphic, out on April 2 via Warp Records. Although far less chaotic than his previous release, Totems Flare, it’s nice to see Clark continuing to evolve as an artist.
